    engine managment light

My mav used to do it every time you stalled it and then started it straight away. Turn it off and start after hearing the relay click and it was fine.

    Any assistance appreciated

No, I honestly couldn't see it. Never thought to look under profile pic. My fault.

    Any assistance appreciated

Nope, 3.0 doesn't run on veg but couldn't see the bit where you said what engine it is.

    Any assistance appreciated

White smoke is usually a sign of water due to head gasket failure. It is possibly linked to running on veg oil and fuel filter needs replacing. Possibly water in the tank too. Fan is normal on 2.7. 10mm fuel lines won't hurt it. Glow plugs might be knackered.

    Seen this?

The driver was an 18 year old girl. Arrested for drunk driving and dangerous driving, released on bail. Tragic for her too. I am very aware she shouldn't have done it but I would guess that stupid mistake will take a toll on her. I am not making light of her crime and I expect the law to run...

It is on £37k now. Won't bring him back but I think it is quite a send off for the poor lad.

    Seen this?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-kent-26705915 Basically a lad doing his sponsored bike ride got knocked off and killed. His Just Giving page is going great guns. Terrible that he was killed but comforting to see the donations rolling in for his charity. It was on £1200 at lunch, over £13k...

    Clicking?

It really is easy. Just get a couple of penny washers for each side and put one each side of the hole. Do it now and the nuts are still easy to remove. (you only have to take off the bottom ones) Leave it two months and the droplinks will have ripped themselves out of the wishbone. Not only will...

    Wiring spotlights?

Drivers side it is then. :D If I make the wire long enough I can swap it if it doesn't work. I do have the switches as you describe already. :thumbs Can't figure out how to make the switch light up though. I have found the two wires that switch on/off though. A bit odd to have 6 wires out of a...

    Wiring spotlights?

I want it as an option with main beam but with a separate off switch. It is on the bull bar, not the roof. Not sure why you would put one on the roof as they are so bright all you will see is the glare on the bonnet. Will go with the nearside headlamp then. Seem to recall I used the offside...

    Wiring spotlights?

Thanks for the reply, it has helped. It's a 94 swb Terrano, I need to update my profile. The old one I had issues with it working on sidelights was actually the same model but a different car.

    Wiring spotlights?

Sorry to ask but where do I connect the "on" wire? I can do the feed via a relay bit but where do I connect the other wire that takes a signal from main beam? Download doesn't tell me and when I did it in the past it randomly stayed on, even with just sidelights on. (Don't ask ) While...

    Electric v's mechanical fan?

Temperature is fine and I just fitted a 88C stat to get it higher. Pump is new too. Maybe I need to swap the fan then. Getting around to it might be a different matter.

    Electric v's mechanical fan?

The fan on this new truck of mine (2.7 TD) seems a bit stiff. I suspect it is getting driven all the time, and I definitely do not get that typical roar that fizzles out after a minute or so. Or more to the point it isn't fizzling out. Do I get a new vicious fan or convert to electric in an...
