Might be a shot ARB link on the front or rear or some thing that has been kicked up when off road that has got trapped the the front or rear suspension oh hold on you fitted spacers didn't you i'd check these haven't moved

As I have said before, if on level ground, shake with the hand brake off, as there are all sorts of clicks from the rear brake hubs.

My MOT is due next month, so I shook mine yesterday and there was a clunk from the nearside front.

I checked the ARB drop links, they were fine, so I jacked up the near side wheel, with the trolley jack under the lower wish bone, block of wood in between, grabbed the wheel, it moved a few mm up and down :eek:

The problem was the upper ball joint, so I ordered a new one.
Should be here Monday, Tuesday.

I replaced the other side just over a year ago, so they were the originals, so did well. 19 years, and close to 100k miles.

What I think helped this one on it's way was a great big pot hole I dropped down last month.
There was no clunking before that, as I regularly rock the vehicle every month or so, just to check. It's a hobby of mine... it's called preventative maintenence.:thumb2

Rustic

Drivera side arb is shagged. Rubber now sits at the top:lol

On order 9 quid. Should be done before 12 I hope. Not difficult to remove?

could do with a washer at bottom of that rubber bush or its going to get pulled through the hole

I always add a washer between the rubber & arm on the top & often do the same underneath so the rubbers can't get pulled through the wishbone as they all wear:doh at 55K mine has just started to oval hence the washers to try & slow things down a bit:augie

It really is easy.
Just get a couple of penny washers for each side and put one each side of the hole.
Do it now and the nuts are still easy to remove. (you only have to take off the bottom ones) Leave it two months and the droplinks will have ripped themselves out of the wishbone. Not only will the rubbers be knackered and you need new droplinks again but the hole will be even more worn.
If you don't do it now, next time will be in a couple of months anyway.

Up to you mate but it is about as easy as it gets.
