    fuel line air leak.

My Pathfinder had this issue for a week or so after purchase but mainly when the tank was below half. I've bleed the filter and all seems well at the minute. I was convinced it was drawing air in to begin.. but I also read about X-trails doing this and needing to be bled every 2000 miles or so...

    Tyre pressure pulling a caravan

Personally I have the tyre pressures as recommended by the manufacturer and make a point of checking them not only on the car but more importantly on the caravan. As a bobby I've swept up many a wreck and seen the affect of poor tyre maintainance, on vehicles, occupants and pedestrians. As for...

    Puddle lights

Plank you could be right yet! They are indeed lamps in the mirrors which come on when you unlock the car or open the door and I assume they are there to see the puddles. Heres a piccy not from a Pathfiner mind but... I may yet explore the removal if it comes to it.. then again someone on "The...

    Stalling after startup

Ok so I have had the car a 2008 pathfinder now for nearly a month. When I got it I ran it about on Holiday towing a large caravan fine. Since we returned I noticed that when it was parked overnight when I came to start it the engine started, ran for say five seconds or so at tickover then...

    20k car

2003 TD6 Vogue... Awesome car.. just the cost over the last 18 months that got the better of it. To have it mint for our next trip (Caravanning down to the South of France) I had another £1200 to look forwards to spending so I cut my losses. That was looking at a couple of tyres, suspension...

    Puddle lights

:thumbs OK , thought it worth checking in case I'm missing something obvious. It also comes on with the rear window up / open so there must be a switch there to... this is drastic now... I may have to read the manual :lol

    Puddle lights

Ok... I bought a dog cage for the hounds.. thing is I want to be able to leave the tailgate open.. but the puddle lights on the mirrors seem to stay on. Whats that all about.. Do they stay on forever as long as the tailgate is open? I don't want to flatten the battery... nor do I want to cook...

    20k car

Well I guess you need to check the MPG's of what ever you look at.. consider the car tax too! Also a good guide is http://whattowcar.com/ for working out what will comfortable and more importantly safely tow your caravan. We recently got a Freelander TD4 for the Mrs.. but oddly the new to me...

    Centre dash / console removal?

I'm exploring the fitment of a carpc in addition to the existing OEM car computer / screen. I need to get the trim off to access the current screen on the Pathfinder ('08). Anyone know where the clips / screws etc are or how to go about it? I don't want to break any clips.

    Caravan fridge problems

H'mm I'm no expert but most fridges run off a compressor.. it may be that this has got siezed. I am doubtling that Caravan fridges have a compressor mind... they may just have a heater to heat the refridgerant (I know it sounds odd but it the way it is) It may be the heater element has gone...

Has your passenger got a Wet patch?

I'm used to dealing with Landrovers so imagine my surprise when my first Nissan had a Wet patch in a matter of days :lol .. ok here we go. I have my new to me Pathfinder and whilst adding some additional wiring I noticed the carpet was wet. Initially I put this down to a Valet getting OTT...
