    hand brake problem and .......

1.Were the drums replaced 2.Were the shoes adjusted so that the drum just fits back on. 3.What I was taught years ago was sometimes if you fit new brake shoes(Especially on old drums) you may need to run the car with the handbrake" just on" to bed the shoe to the disc. Try and run the motor...

    smell of diesel

Fairy liquid in warm water(Make a strong mix) squirt it over the areas and brush in then leave for 5 mins then wash off with warm water and repeat till clean.Works very well for me and I have done quite a few leak off pipes on different vehicles :thumbs

    smell of diesel

Hard to see where the fuel is coming from with all the wet everywhere but seeing as the pipes are wet,I am guessing that your rubber leak off pipes could be past there best and need changing (The rubber goes brittle over the years and eventually leaks).Ever so easy to do and the pipe can be...

    wading with intercooler

Just make yourself some kind of bung to fill the hole in on the bonnet. I know on my Mercedes 312 Sprinter that if I cleaned the engine off (Got water on it OR probably a certain part) it played havoc with the electrics and would go into limp mode most of the time until it had dried off.Not...

    please help clutch pedal

I am pretty sure I have had to pump the peddle first thing in the morning where it has felt too low but the fluid levels are fine when I check(No leaks at all) .......... I will check that spring when I get the chance. Cheers Dave

    please help clutch pedal

I get exactly the same but just live with it at the moment............probably thinking that all Terrano's do it sooner or later.

What do you think of this unit

What do you think of this unit

I have the large head unit with the hazard switch built in.I was looking at a blanking plate on e bay I could use so I could fit the standard head unit, but I would still have to mess about with sorting the hazard switch then buy a head unit as well.

Everything at hand HERE I bought one very much like it 4 yrs ago and it's the best toolkit I have ever owned and havn't broken anything in it OR lost anything as as long as the toolkit is full at the end of the day you just can't go wrong (Bit different when you have a toolbox as you wouldn't...

What do you think of this unit

HERE Fed up with having only 6 cd's in the changer and can't be bothered to mess about and change the head unit so thought this little unit would connect straight up to the old head unit .I could put either a USB stick in it or a SD card.........get quite a few songs on then. I don't know how...

    Keeping warm.

I have one of those small camping gas heaters like the fishermen use with the small throw away gas can. I light that up and sit it on the front seat make sure it is firmly in place ,then I switch the Terrano heater on, put the air to circulate in the Terrano and have the front windscreen setting...
