    Clutch Pedal Play

Adjusting the nut in the pictures does adjust the clutch pedal height. Just did mine today. There is a picture of all this in the workshop manual in the downloads section and it gives the correct pedal height and travel distance. Mine was in and around the correct height but gave about 2 inches...

    interior lights help

Usually remove the bulbs from the interior lights on mine because the kids kept messing with them and leaving them on and I never had a need to actually use any of them anyway. Changed trucks recently and didn't get around to taking out the bulbs yet but that rear interior light that stays on...

Thanks for that. :thumb2 Veeerrrry nice! Look the real business.

    speedo out.

A bit of a tangent I know but anywhere on here you have posted a picture of your truck with those Kuhmo 33's. Would like to see that.

    speedo out.

Again, your'e correct. When I did increase tyre size for a while speedo was more or less in line with speed signs on side of road.

    speedo out.

Sorry! Your'e right. I got it wrong way round. The original question was as you say, speedo reading too low not too high. Tyre size would seem the most obvious reason. Thanks for the correction.

    speedo out.

Don't have sat nav. Tyres are standard as per manufacture spec. Maybe speed thingys on road side are set a bit high?

Toque Pro OBD2 for Android, Terrano?

Same one I have and same conclusion. Seems cheaper connector won't really do a good enough job and the one that should do is more money than I want to pay. Maybe others on here have got it to work without splashing out on the pricey adaptors.

    speedo out.

Same here. Thingy at the side of the road is always about 8 mph lower than my speedo. Speedo on an 92 micra I use is the same. Mazda b2500 I used to use same also. It can be handy though as I don't know how many times I have passed a speed camera a few miles over the limit and breathed a sigh of...

    smell

"Weed variety" it says? I'd recommend Roundup :) If the smell is bothering you or the situation is otherwise a nuisance then why not call the police and let them sort it out. Besides, if you can smell it so clearly half the neighbourhood probably can also so its probably a matter of time anyway...

Toque Pro OBD2 for Android, Terrano?

And just in case you are not aleady confused here's some more info from the same place. The OBD port on some Nissan cars is the same shape as OBDII but it is 7 pin and does not have the OBDII capabilty, this picture gives shows what it may look like - <a...

Toque Pro OBD2 for Android, Terrano?

Following has been copied from torque site. Note however that the info is provided by trackelectronics who sell connectors to fit the first type of plug shown. If it looks like this, you will need specific Nissan Consult hardware (such as http://www.trackelectronics.com.au/consultBT). If it...

Toque Pro OBD2 for Android, Terrano?

Try the following link. On the second page of discussions down the page there are some pictures given of different types of nissan diagnostic plugs and comments on whether each will work with Torque and what adaptors. http://torque-bhp.com/forums/?wpforumaction=viewtopic&t=1793.1 I tried...

Toque Pro OBD2 for Android, Terrano?

As far as I know that is the plug to the far right. But according to some of the discussions on the torque site that plug type is the non-OBDII compliant one and the standard adaptors on ebay won't fit it and torque may not work with it properly if at all. I will be interested though to see if...

Toque Pro OBD2 for Android, Terrano?

Have been looking at the Torque app also. From the discussions on the Torque site it seems the app will work with some Nissans and not others. My understanding so far is that Torque is basically for use with the OBD system but Nissan uses the Consult system (I am open to correction on this but...

CD player clicking and not working

Would most car audio units be ok or will some kind of code be needed for the ecu to recognise it?

CD player clicking and not working

Thanks for all the replies and useful suggestions. :thumbs CD player is done for so and I don't think its worth the effort getting it fixed. Did take the whole unit out of the dash to see if there was anywhere I could stick in an cable to use an mp3 as a auxiliary. No place to stick in rca...

    Dongle or not?

That's the one. As far as I know it works on both mains supply and usb connection to computer. However, if you don't need the wifi for connecting with other devices you are probably just as well with a regular dongle as I don't think there is much of a difference in usage speed and the dongle...
