went and picked up our new family member today, the mrs decided as the only jobs i'm gonna get outside the hours i do our own business is gonna be nights she dont want to be home alone so we dot a dog

She's an Akita, been a few years since we had dogs so will have to get used to it again, last time we had great danes, she still needs a name tho
 
awww.... I have got ferrets bigger than that... If that is supposed to look after your wife when you are on nights, I hope it's bark is worse than it's bite:lol:lol

she's only 8 weeks old lol

the japanese akita does grow quite big although not as big as great danes which is what we used to have

nice pup, very cute! the only let down for any breed unfortunately are the lazy buggers(swapped for a c word) that do not tidy up after them! neighbours got a male akita, it is huge but so friendly!

i know what ya mean only takes 2 minutes and always a nearby bin its no big hardship and in winter a free handwarmer :lol
