    Live front axle...............How to ?

Ooops trailmaster not Calmini - https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/trailmaster-inch-suspension-lift-p-91.html Basically you unbolt all the front cross members, and then refit them using spacers to lower the front diff, lower wishbones and torsion bars, then you fit great spacers to the top ball...

    Live front axle...............How to ?

Coil overs will gain absolutely nothing. The suspension doesn't acre what sort of springs it has so long as it has springs the limitation inthe front suspension is in the wishbone design and specifically that you run out of travel and ball joint angle. Try dropping the front shocks off with the...

    Live front axle...............How to ?

Seen the vid before - dreadful music lol Belive its a Jeep axle you have to use to get the diff drop on the correct side - or someones doing an after market case in the US to take Toyota internals. The one in the vid don't seem that well done - not much flex at all, almost no bump travel if...

    wobbly bum

Its the only thing in the entire rear suspension that stops the axle moving side to side.

    Now don't laugh - a Proton.

I did call it "Project Pipe ad Slippers" on the Proton OC forum.

    Rear suspension Bump Stops

For offroading etc I'd say not (done the same at times myself) but if carrying loads or towing etc then retaining them is not a bad idea but with a 2" lift you'd need to space them off 2" to get any real benefit.

    Rear suspension Bump Stops

Not sure about the Pathfinder (I assume its a WD21 chassis) but on the Terrano 2 the bump stops are also spring assistors so if your's are the same you probably need to fit the same ones. I've just checked the parts catalogue and though it looks pretty similar the part numbers are not the same...

    Aaarghh!! Fire Fire!!

Nedkelly hasn't said its a 3 litre its just I didn't find a 2.7 one on Milners site. The price e has is for an OEM one so will be more - on a fairly new vehicle (its a 2005) it may be worth spending the bit extra - final decision on that is his. Whats warranty on an OEM one?

    Aaarghh!! Fire Fire!!

What engine is that on? Milners have them for the 3L at £240 so £180-220 sounds good I would go with one of those. Sounds like it must have jammed on for it to have gone up in flames - no other damage?

    Old question.. (SORRY)

Must say my Renault master is nicer to tow with than the Terrano (SWB and with 2" lift), less bouncy and more stable in a straight line but then the master's super long wheelbase - but the Terrano is plated at 2.8T and the Master 2T so that limits what I use it for and the Terrano does have the...

    12 volt mobile preasure washer.!

To use a fire extinguisher you need an old water one with a schaeder valve (a car tyre valve) - fill with the relevant amount of water an dthen presurise with foot pump or compressor. Another easy portable for doing rads etc is one of those pump up gargen sprayers that hold from 5-20litre. Not...

    Skid plate bolts

I'm pretty sure they are M6 not M8 - not sure on length, but could whip one out and look inthe morning. I've replaced mine with stainless caphead, much easier to get out again after they've been scraped across rocks etc and the hex head has lost its shape - button headed cap heads would e even...

    Yorkshire night meet up

Yeah they sold the MIlk bar 5 or so years back no to developers and bought what was the New Inn at Newthorpe - they now have a campsite, in site fish rnage and other catering, and the place is busier than ever. When it opened the Police had to close the B1222 as the car park had majorly...

    Patrol shocks and springs

The shocks themselves are fine but Explorer Pro Comp (UK) went bust and ceased trading over 18 months ago - WTF the back pages of their website are still up is beyond me, if you try the homepage you'll fine its not available.

    Yorkshire night meet up

Used to be in Sherburn - now at Newthorpe - Fenton Lane however is the other side of Sherburn and runs off the B1222 towards not surprisingly Church (and Little) Fenton. Anyone going?

    Mk4 Bonnet Guard

Sorry just can't imagine for the life of me why anyone would want to fit one - Terrano's aren't the most aerodynamic of vehicles anyway but I'd bet my bottom dollar that bonnet guards make em worse and personally I find em ugly too. But anyway a MK3 one should fit.

    Mk4 Bonnet Guard

Is it not just that the Mk4 isn't really recognised as a separate model as its only a minor facelift and doesn't effect the steel work so a Mk3 will fit your Mk4 anyway. Bl**dy horrible things though anyway - why not go the whole hog an get a car bra or better still wrap it in bubble wrap, pack...
