    Anti role bar

Technically yes. But if you remove everything, drop links etc then I've found that you're ok. I've still got on em the T2 but on the old Mav I'd removed em and never failed. On my rally car I've also removed them and it failed first time on lack of front ARB (didn't notice the rear was missing...

    Terrano 2 Limited Slip Differential

Usually the other way around as the outer wheel will be the loaded one wen cornering so the inside wheel will ave less grip and s be the one that slips.

    bio fuel

See other threads - theres loads of them - but mines one of the later Bosch EDC15 ECU ones with the lift needle sensor on injector no 1 and mine runs fine on anything, Bio, SVO etc the earlier ones are even more tolerant to it.

    bio fuel

All diesel now has a bio content - theres an EU or Government inititative, target or something on it - will slowly ramp up. Rather makes a mockery of those manufacturers who claim their cars won't run on any bio diesel in the UK whilst there German counterparts happily recommend B100 - for the...

    general CLUTCH BITE point question

A worn clutch will have a biting point very near the top as it would take next to no force to release the small pressure on it. But a biting point near the top is more often an over tight cable or one thats just adjusted up one click to take up the cable stretch etc. Where a clutch bites COULD...

    general CLUTCH BITE point question

Where a clutch bites is no indication at all on the condition of the clutch it just shows the actuation mechanism is or isn't well adjusted or even in bent/bad condition etc.

    Rubber Shortage...

Same thing, many of the wagon on the road are running on retreaded/remoulded tyres. Nothing wrong with them IMHO
  9. Terranosaurus

    Rubber Shortage...

Selected carcasses are used for retreading/remoulding the rest are just scrap.

    Rubber Shortage...

ReTreads have ben around for cars for almost as long as rubber tyres have been available. Anyway time to fess up I think its my fault, all the tyres are in my back garden, I keep selling some but the pile never seems to get any smaller :D:D:D

    Tyre cutter

Not illegal, used in rallying regularly and contrary to popular opinion rally cars have to be completely road legal as they use the public road as link sections. It is illegal to cut a deeper groove then those moulded in as standard and I believe it is only legal to cut (groove) new tyres...

    Headlight Bulbs

Whatcar or autocar or similar did a test and though the Phillips did come out on top there was very little in it and it will vary with headlight type anyway. I use the Night Breakers in my van, T2 and rally car. For Mac Challenge I had cibie Bi-oscar spots oon the T2 which use H4 bulbs so had...

    strange wire near spare wheel

Mines got it too its deinitely standard fit. Has been discussed on here before but never really got to the bottom of it.
  17. Terranosaurus

    copper pipe for fuel lines

Yep its fine - used on clubmans rally cars to run the lines inside all the time - you might want to do the same whilst you're at it.
  18. Terranosaurus

    What model have I ??

Ring a Nissan dealer they should be able to tell you precisely what it is from the chassis number. There were no LWB commercials (vans) so its not one of those unless its a ringer.
  19. Terranosaurus

    Spring lift!!

Spring lifts never really give any more space for bigger tyres you need a body lift to fit bigger tyres.

Swapping Tyres from Pajero to Maverick

If you check the rear wheels/drums on the terrano you'll see that there is nothing for the wheel or any spigot rim to sit on anyway.
