    if when where, terrano replacement

So this weekend I have mostly been looking at Jeep Grand Cherokees. Went to see one locally yesterday but the dealer had loaned it out as a courtesy car, which must say something about it. Today been over the Pennines to Stockport to see one and we all are impressed, decided for now not to buy...

    if when where, terrano replacement

Looking at smaller SUVs, always thought weren't big enough for our caravan but maybe as they've got bigger and more poke they could be. Noted XTrail can give upto 170bhp and one of RAV4s is about the same. Further some of the facelift Freelander2 with DS4 2.2 td are about 190bhp typically mated...

    if when where, terrano replacement

So if the 3L is on borrowed time, looking at replacement options. We have decided next truck doesn't need to be a 7 seater. Could be very late Terrano but much as loved them may be time for change. All this chassis rot issue has put me off Pathfinders, shame as did seem the evolution. Had a...

    suspected rear diff issue

So it has been with the engineer today. Says was empty, has refilled but has leak. Suggested look to replace main seal and maybe gasket too. It runs as should though has kept the slight howl on power on, but atleast the clanging has gone, presume the LSD complaining of lack of oil.

Jeep Grand Cherokee WK 3.0 CRD Auto

viewing WKs with interest as next non Nissan 4x4. How do you find them for parts and what are they like to work on. Is my MoT repair shop likely to find onr much trickier than a Terrano or the green ovals he owns?

A brief history of car ownership - What is yours?

Starting with car learnt to drive in but never owned myself, morris minor, had been my grandfather's and my mum took it over on his passing. We had it refurbished in early 80s by a firm that came with good credentials but messed it up, seems they should have stuck to imps... later found a moggy...

    Another year of motoring

Well 53 plate 3.0 just passed test, something of a relief after last year when needed £500 of welding to osr sill and around nsf suspension mount. Got an advisory though that could be looking at same or double next year as think osf suspension mount and under front foot wells might be too far...

    Towbar Sockets

been on my mod list since first t2 but as said am concerned about clearance behind bumper. especially with 13 core cable being so chunky. as i run a 13 pin have wondered about going to left of wheel so as said cant get stood on, i use a 13 to 2x7 lead so the extra distance would help soak up...

Electrical Gremlin - Ignition Reminder Chime

that chime always catches me out as must not do the required combination very often. sort of related is that if the remote locking fob isnt working then i look the doors not with the key but with the lever on inside of door, ie next to the open the door lever. so if key in ignition and flick...

A brief history of car ownership - What is yours?

1.6efi Maestro, was that a mod as I had an auto 1.6 carb, and there was an MG 1.6 twin carb then 2.0efi. seem to think there was a rover 216 with 1.6 efi. follow a maestro/montego fb page and despite in 4x4s would love an AR MG.
