can you pass on the info to me about where you order it from and how you store the svo please.
also do you have to inform councils, fire brigades etc etc and have adequate bunding for the svo to meet health and safety (common sense people apparently).
cheers
phil

Phil don't think you'll find there are any H&S requirements attached since the fire hazard is minimal - but that doesn't mean there aren't any, just that its never been raised as an issue in the many internet forums where this stuff is commonly discussed. I bought mine as a one-off in a standard 1000-litre industrial container which I have then decanted from as required.

I think the requirement in respect of waste veg oil is a bit different, as the objective is to stop it being dumped...strictlyt speaking you are supposed to have a licence (which costs £140 i think) to collect it as well as completing a waste transfer notice every time....but the reality is that the EA doesn't have the resources to monitor or prosecute such things.

my problem is that i will have to have a ibc (i think thats what they are called) in my back garden. now my neighbours being neighbours will probably inform the council once they find out what it is.
so it looks like it will have to be a trip to makros to buy their cheap cooking oil in 20 litre containers and store it in the shed i guess! ho hum!!!

hey if you can store 5000 litres of kerro in your garden
i dont see the neighbors having a case
