There's no way any boycott of BP or Esso or who ever will work. There's just too many people over the preverbial barrel who simply have to fill up to get work done to get paid to pay mortgage etc etc.
Any one day ban is just delays your next fill up:doh
I think a more home brew method is required, like alternative fuels:sly
I was talking to the guy I get my bio from and he said there's more and more oil burners going bio and it's getting really hard to find enough chip fat:augie
Two friends locally are now sourcing used oil to start making bio commercially:thumbs They plan to sell in smaller containers too making it easier for town folk to stor the stuff:)
Local LPG converter has just taken on another fitter too:rolleyes:
I'm still amazed at few on here use veggy or bio:nenau I'm saving 53p a litre at the mo, it's a no brainer surely:naughty

For me Pete, seriously, its just a fear of the witches homebrew these people use compared to a proper chemical process.....If your truck is still working in a few months time and your fuel seals havent dissolved I will be seriously encouraged....but like you say, with bus companies and so on jumping on the bandwagon the supply of WVO for the smaller processors is drying up fast, so I'd say enjoy it while you can....

I know what you mean :thumb2
So far so good though, grabing large amounts of wood :sly ooo er missus :lol
Been on it for about 18 months I think. Done the filter early on and again crimbo time.
Fingers crossed :D

I'm going down the rapeseed route as soon as I can escape from this tarts palace and sort things out LOL

The chief Exec at Opec 2 weeks ago, told the people its selling its oil too, to stop moaning at them for the price. I have to agree! the govenment makes more profit from selling fuel than the people that produce it. 58p for duty then 20% for Tax (Ps, thats 20% tax on the duty that they charged you as well) that adds up too 86p per Ltr right in to their pocket FOR NOTHING!

If they stop sending Billions of pound to other bloody contries all the time bailing them out and spent the money over here (The money that they take from us by the way) they would be able to lower the tax altogether.

We pay road tax, insurance and have to have an MOT to stay with in the law and we are only aloud to use 2,500 ltrs of cooking oil or we get done for fuel duty avoidence, How the hell can they charge you fuel duty avoidence if your NOT USING THE FUEL. Thats like you having bottled gas for your house and brithish gas sending you a bill cos your not using theirs, talk about stacking the deck!

Even as im typing this i can feel myself getting angry, so i think i will back away from the computer now:mad:

IMHO

I use Total Excellum Diesel at stupid pence per litre so makes no odds to me anymore lol...

Total garages - its like 135-140 a litre though

we're hovering around £1.30 a litre here.

saw a bit of good justice yesterday, one of the worst profiteering garage sites in Middlesbrough went bust and after a short spell as a van sales site is now a block of flats :D:D:D

our local ASDA is holding out at £1.29.9 (£1.30 really) that "point nine" makes me laugh, next time you fill up stop on exactly 2 litres and see what you are really paying

Down Lacroupade's neck of the woods it was as high as £1.38.9 - shocking!
