Should receive my steering bits today and new 10J rim for my spare on the back door just need to get some box section so I can space it off the back door :doh

There are two big bolts through it but it would leave two plates hanging down:nenau
I was going to take the whole thing off

same type as mine.I just take the swan neck off.never bent or damaged it.because of the direction the plates are on the towbar they just slide over stuff :thumbs

Or does anyone have any other clever ideas of how I can space my wheel carrier on the back door to get this 33 to clear?

Is this spacing up (towards the top of the truck) or outwards (towards the rear)?

I've heard that flipping the bracket 180 degrees can move the spare up a touch. If you need to move it out, what about using some big nuts as washers to space the bracket from the door? :nenau

Any welders, fabricators, gate/railing places, trailer builders, HGV workshops/fitters, JCB places etc. will all have some and probably let you have some for nowt, jus flash some leg

Time is getting close now so trying to get my head in gear as to when and where, we should be at Penrhiw campsite about 3 pm, time we set up and remove the tow bar, exercise the dog etc come 5/6 pm we will be looking for pub grub, what time and where are we meeting on Saturday?
