not taking my a bar off as it has saved my front bumper a few times.they tend to slide on them better than the plastic bumper.

ps zippy i am re-indexing my torsion bars to gain the lift on the front to match my 2" rear lift so will get some pix for you and get them uploaded.

That was on my previous LWB T2 after pressure washing and under sealing the chassis.

It don’t stay that way for long, just trying to preserve the thing, been meaning to do the one I have now for the last 2 years.

Has your rear diff got the correct LSD oil in it so that the LSD will work.
Do your front (front) free wheeling hubs work properly.
Is your front suspension at the corect height or has it sagged, my first Mav was done 40mm.

After that go out and do some, see what you like be it green laning or pay and play days or perhaps both and then you can equip youreslf suitably.

PS whereabouts are you - people migt be able to point you at a suitable event or venue.

Yours aren't what most people think of as bull bars ae they? Its a winch bumper and a wing guard bars etc - not bull bars that drop down to the chassis rails. Look at dinkies got nent first time out, keeps threatening to take em off.
Mine could do with being lighter tho and less forward protruding. :smile:

But you know what its like, you buy and use something then see something more desirable ?
I'd prefer something lighter & shorter, plus something that allows better access to the winch.

Yes - Albright is the est known ones. Apparently best practice is to miount the solenoids remotely - up in the engine bay in a sealed box to try to keep them out of the worst of it - just setting off to pick up my winch. ave you worked out what is wrong with yours yet?

Fingers seem to be pointing at the solonoids. :?
From what I gather tho the sealed contactor replaces the solonoids.
Where ya going for the winch and what is it ??

Yes they do.

Champions 10000lb - ebay purchase, Leyland Lancs - its like new, cables, cut out, 2 wired remotes, 2 wireless remotes, mounting plate, with roller fair lead, genuine Champion cover - £199 - which seams like a bargain imo.

Apparently it was mounted in the boot of a landy and used once - from the condition I can beleive it.
