Looks great doesn’t it. There’s a link to the site earlier in the thread, tdoug found it.

Ah yes. Been a bit out of the loop lately. It does look a great place. I'll try my hardest to make this meet :thumb2

Sorry guys, unless fuel prices come down there’s no chance of me beena ble to make it. Just been to fill up, not been for about a month or so.

I can get some veg oil from bookers for you if it helps mate, forgot how much it is but its a lot cheaper than diesel :thumb2

Nicely done Simon :thumb2

How much was it?, I haven't been in touch with them yet!
A tenner per person for the night, plus £1.00 for a hot shower. Each pitch has a designated fire pit.
I imagine it'll be busy in July as schools will be off, won't they?

Is this happening? I need to book time off from one wokplace and cancel a day at the other.

I hope it’s still happening as I’ve already booked the time off work

Hope so as intend making it but need to book site, is everyone going to the Cae Du Farm? that is where I intend to book if space available, Rick

pity it wasn't a week later as i am in wales for a week from the 28th.

I "gathered" some firewood for Wales, I wanted a pile of 18 inch long joist off-cuts but the builder was having none of it, see if he's changed his mind tomorrow, if not the water stays off for another day :lol

Would it be better getting a block booking or identifying ourselves as a group so that we can have a section to ourselves? Either end of the site would be perfect and keep us segregated from honest, hard working every day tourists. :naughty

Yes mate thats a good idea, I reckon if we identify ourselfs as the forum or summat should be easy enough :thumb2

I have just spoken to the lady at the campsite, really nice woman, that weekend is not one of their most popular ones so they have plenty of bookings :thumb2

Prices are:-
1 person in tent £10
2 person in tent £15
UPTO £20 for a caravan depending on size
£2 per dog
Pay on arrival,
and there is a shower for a pound, ask donsimon for details :lol

They are ok with 4x4's, she says they've had 22 land rovers on at once so make sure the fire stays within the fire pit, with all that oil in the ground it'll burn for months :lol

The dates are arrive Fri 20th afternoon, leave Sun 22nd afternoon or sooner, thats just what I have booked, I've got a feeling Rick and Mags will probably stay Sun night :)
The number I used is 01654 711 234, the lady says quote my name when booking if you like, Mark Douglas, I told her who we were but she still said use my name.

I may also stop Sunday night as it’s gonna be a 5hr drive home

We are booked, and yes staying Sunday night drive back Monday, Rick

Staying Sun night is a good idea for the long haulers, google tells me 3hr 22min and 167mls, I'll check that with a couple of other sat navs though. Not sure if I will have work in Monday as I've decided on a career change and applied for a couple of different jobs, hopefully have obe by then!

Ill be there one way or another. Engine due for a starting next week just as soon as I get some injector seals LUKE :)
