Just been to a local tyre house to get my tyres checked, it's an independent not a large chain. I wanted my rear tyres checking out as they feel a little close to the depth indicator to me, they are Bridgestone Duellers. The indicator is marked by a small arrow on the sidewall and can clearly be seen and felt in the tread.
First of all junior monkey got his tool out to test the depth, he first measured 6mm 8O so I pointed outed the indicator which measured 3mm and 4mm on the other side. I asked if someone else could check too so older monkey came out and got the same and walked away mumbling something quite probably telling me I had no father but who cares  .
What do other people think of these road tyres and the depth and am I gonna get stuck when we do North Yorkshire, never mind off road is it about time they were changed anyway :?:
BTW the fronts got changed 2 years ago to Toyo Open Country AT's
