Started having issue the other day - the car was starting fine but reluctant to rev and eventually settled to only ticking over. Got Code 12 which suggests a MAF related problem (circuit malfunction). However there is also a Code 95 which isn't on the list?????
Prior to this issue, I had charged up the battery and had rested the large 40m mains extension reel in the area to the left of the MAF so that the bonnet was just open enough to clear the charger and keep off any rain.
I am suspicious that I may have compromised the wiring in that area. I'm not that good with vehicles but did remove a connector at the top that has 4 wires - I think they are blue, red green and black. It all looked tidy so I pushed it back in. Trying to to see where these wires go, but it's not clear - I thought it would be worth checking to see if there was a continuity issue. The car is now off road so it's not practical to get it to a garage to see a doctor (the MAF is a Bosch).
Today, I waggled some of the connectors further down in case there was a bad connection and now it refuses to start. Any help from you experts would be appreciated - like where do these 4 wires go and is Code 12 (and 95?) likely to be anything to do with this part of the wiring?
