Rick, a lot of people on here have seen your truck in the flesh and I dare say the same amount of people are genuinely surprised that it is under 3000kg [emoji38] :thumbs
Here here, Rick must have had about 4Tonne on board when he did Bastard Lane!!!!!

Correct, unless your in quicksand, then ur buggered:lol

Not convinced.... my little Zuki SJ410 would go far more places than most of the cars on the Pay and Play days... One time, when we did get it stuck, it took a Landrover over an hour to winch it's self to us, before it could then winch us out of the rut, then another hour to get back out, where as we just drove out. Only thing that gives you traction is the best correct type of tyres... Yeah Yeah... like the KO2's on Suz's car!!! :lol

:roflol: you know me so well :thumbs

I'm a big believer in altering tyre pressures, I think it majes a big difference.

The jimnys have a weight advantage in deep thick mud etc. but they seem to struggle a bit on the ordinary stuff, especially if there is a gradient, the extra weight of the bigger trucks creates grip sometimes, its harder to spin a wheel with an extra ton pushing down on it. My mates 08 plate V8 derv Range Rover weighs about 2800kgs from the factory plus whatever the customiser did to it, he reckons its over three tons though, thats with no winch or roof rack aswell, its one of those with 22" wheels etc.. Would be closer to four tons if it were prepped for off roading.

Just for the record, I hate the rear lights wiring on my truck, it is actually swaying me toward making a custom bumper so I can fit some led's instead of the rubbush that is in now :banghead

Took the steel rope off and removed the end cover to have a look inside, a bit dusty but it looks in really good condition to my eye, brushes have plenty if life in them....

Are you thinking of using the foot pedal as a speed control T-Doug? :naughty
