We have the Xsara Picasso, 1.6 hdi 110 hp, boy it shifts, and on the Norfolk trip it does 55 + mpg, and thats at 70 mph + 10% lol... what ever the law allows
Great engine, 12500 miles between services, now done, close on 100,000 miles since new.
Doesn't use oil, still returns 55 mpg, have had 60 mpg at a constant 60 mph, when I thought I was going to run out of diesel as I got onto the motorway.
OK citroens are built to a price, lots of plastic, but loads of cubby holes to stash things.
The same engines are used clearly in Peugeots, but also in some of the Ford cars etc.
Bodywork is ultra thin, so watch those parking dents
But from a safety point of view, they are very safe, so I expect the same with the berlingo.
So I hope you keep in touch, I expect you will, as you have since you parted with the Terrano.
You have many friends on this site, ok, many of us have never met you, but that's what this club is about.:thumb2
Enjoy your new car:thumb2.
best regards,
Richard
