As promised, I'd better give a little update on whats been going on with the 3.0 refurb as I've had Elts on the graft too in order to get it roadworthy again tothe highest possible standards
The cement splatters were a success!!! The job is still only half done but I'm content in the knowledge that I'm equipped to finish it :naughty
Bostik Brick Acid works a treat and hasn't had any effects on the top coat or lacquer from what I can see.
This was the door before;
This was after
Need to get some better daylight pics really :thumb2 Just notpretty to look at at the moment with nothing bolted onto her just naked in the wind on those axle stands :lol :nenau
Name a part that didn't come off???!!!
The tank was an interesting one, there was almost 50 litres of fuel in it but it was 5 years old at least and there were some funny gunky black bits in it :nenau You know me though!!! I pumped it out through a 1 micron sock and straight into Terrance and he loved every drop :lol I didn't break any of the tank bolts either
The tanks going to be stripped and painted and fully cleaned inside as I did with the other 3.0 I refurbished
Have you ever flexed on Axle stands? :lol :lol :lol
*****DISCLAIMER******* DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME, ALL STUNTS WERE CARRIED OUT BY A PROFESSIONAL IDIOT
And here's a random picture of one of the dustpans full of crud I've managed to clean out of the Terrano's rear end and that was just with stiff brush!!!
