Ordered myself some bits in the hope that I can get this beast started over Easter, set a goal to get it started before my half century in a couple of weeks. So ordered a pair of Bosch batteries a Accuspark Electronic Ignition conversion, comes with a new distributor, coil, ht leads and plugs. Will post pics when I start working on it.

Oops just noticed someone taking a look at this thread which made me feel a little guilty. I promise you guys I will give this an update soon. This is going to be the year of the mg come hell or high water.

Thanks all for the welcome, just noticed it says I joined in 2014 when it was actually just last month,so I really am a newbie. I will put a couple of pictures of my motor on- if I can figure out how to do it- I'm a real novice on here!!
