Just a few questions for you to think over. Where will the matress be stored while driving around?
How will the timber bed be stored with the seats up ?
Bedding needs to have somewhere safe and dry too.
Nothing worse than setting up camp only to find a soggy sleeping bag , eeuw.
Keep up the good work :thumbs

Blow up air bed would stow away neatly if you get one with a 12v pump that sucks the air out as well

Get a decent t-max air pump, then can be used on tyres too.

I think Ryan is getting a nice water bed in the back.

Nah air beds are pants :p
we've had loads of the ruddy things and I've spent more time repairing punctures inthem than all the kids bikes put together. We've moved on to the roll out mats now. They need 2 puffs to blow them up though :lol
Ultra comfy and take up hardly any room.
The point I was trying to make was, where does all this stuff go in the car while he's driving about looking for the festival, or worrying sheep off road ?
OR is the idea to make it into a bed before you leave home ?

Most festivals have a camper van area but it comes at a premium and I think its a VIP only thing

Just got some thermal insulation/bubble wrap from wickes, cheers rustic:thumb2

I'd like to do something like this to mine but it's only a SWB and wouldn't be a lot of space in the back.
I look forward to seeing your progress though Ryan :)

Got half the dash back in, just need to finish it off tomorrow then the camper conversion continues:naughty
