Remember Inverters draw a fair bit of current when the are plugged in, even when they are not actually running anything.. So make sure you fit a switch so you can turn off the 12v side.
Another thing is, most (Cheap?) inverters from my experience, will not run up if you have something already plugged into the mains side when you apply the 12 volt, so you need access to be able it switch off the mains side as well.
While you have the dash out, you couldn't see if you can find where that bolt I dropped went?:lol:lol

Tip:
when passing wires over sharp edges, put some edging over the metal edge, I was particularly looking around your rear light cluster, but applies to all areas.:thumb2
Meh, I solder everything
just cycled to my white Terrano and nicked the metal heater pipes off it as there in better nick than the ones that were on my blue one 'Toby', bloody creepy cycling on the back roads at night
