So this morning she cranked a few times but no go, flat battery symptom. Fair enough, got the slave battery out the boot and the leads, still no joy. Took the big battery to work and charged up all day. Came back click up the leads again and still flat battery symptoms :nenau

Pretty unhappy

Have you checked the negative battery connection:confused:
Mine came loose where the wire crimps in to the connector.

in all honesty i would contact the seller, its not been that long yet you have had to do loads of remedial jobs, did it turn over at all or just a slow turn?

Right all terminals tight.

She does crank but only for a sec then slows then clicks, typical flat battery symptom.

Have you checked where the cables are crimped in to the connectors ,the sometimes come loose and causes same problem :nenau

Check the battery clamps as these are known for splitting so the starter doesn't get all the power it needs. I'd give the live cable to the starter a bit of a wiggle as these are known to break up after that i'd say a dud battery or starter but if you got any warranty on it i'd contact the seller

At the terminal ends? If so yes all is tight. I'm just uploading a video so you guys can laugh at me

Also I have had it come loose where negative connects to body same symptoms:confused:

As said check where the battery terminal clamp is fixed to the thick cables, for some reason the positive is good for damage at this point. Basically the clamp drops off the cable.

Get the same symptoms when the starter is shot too.

i had these symptoms and it was the starter motor, everything pointed to the battery, i even got a brand new bosch battery that i couldn't return because it had been connected :doh replaced the starter and it fired up straight away

my non starting issues are normally due to the nut behind the wheel ..... trying to start it while in drive :doh

Ehehe thankyou sir. She would surely jump about in gear though :naughty

id take a wee bet ......either a wire adrift on battery clamps , or wire loose on starter ......or even starter foofed
