I have to admit I have no idea. I put my faith in a faceache friend who has the same profile cam, infact mine is not quite so grr as his on the advice of the guy in cam profile shop. What do you mean by the overlap ?Might sound a bit daft Pete but how sure on the profile of that cam were you? I mean what was the overlap like? Its not just blowing all the boost down the exhaust is it giving you the chirrup sound.

Ive got my engine at work with no head on it so ill get the dial gauge out at work tommorow and find out the standard td27 cam specs so we can compare it to your altered profile and see if any adjusment is needed for it :thumbs.
No problem Rick. I explained the max lift wrong :doh as the valve is never fully open at tdc, its normally between 100 and 120 degrees after tdc otherwise the valves would hit the pistons.
