Paint shop time:thumb2
First it was degreased and acid etch primed.

Once that had flashed off it had a coat of zinc primer.

That was part cured and rubbed down then a black texture effect top coat.

Also stripped the winch down and gave that a fresh coat of paint.

Great job!
Looking forward to the result with the bumper on your truck

That looks really good and shows how good of a job you did on the steel, the radiused edges make it look moulded. :thumb2

You would never know it was a welded steel bumper if you just saw that last shot.. I reckon there will be a few people laughing at him, if they see him slide the high lift into that, only to do a double take when it lifts the car...:lol

Just the bash plate to finish off and wire up the spotlights.

The bash plate will finish that perfectly.

Very nice job.

I take it that powder coating dries very quickly.

It's cured between 180 -200 degrees Celsius and once cooled is ready to go so yes it's very quick and serviceable in no time:thumb2

Wow, now thats what I need, never had time to waste waiting for paint to dry... ruined many models as a kid when I got to the painting stage.
