Can i just say that if anyone wants any stickers or club stuff, Caps, polos ect, let me know and i can bring them with me on the day and safe postage, as i dont want to carry lots of extra stuff around with me.

Welcome to the club. pleased you have found this post on Derbyshire Green Lanes day .
This event was an informal day . Which should have taken place last month ,but due to the heavy rains I had to postpone .

problem I now have is not enough group leaders are available so only running two groups WHICH ARE NOW FULL

HOPE TO RUN MORE EVENTS IN THE COMING MONTHS

I am just running lane days in my own area .derbyshire /nottinghamshire.
I have only just started doing them .
We had a R.O.W.O [CAMERAMAN] Who used to organise the lanes days but he has stopped doing it after a years fantastic service to the club .
IT WAS HE WHO TAUGHT US ALL ABOUT MAP READING AND HOW TO LOCATE GREEN LANES.
HAVE A LOOK IN FORUMNS A LOT OF HIS WORK IS STILL THERE.
MAKES VERY GOOD READING.
have a look on www.wayfinder.co.uk. you will find a lot of lanes from around the country on there with maps .
try putting a post up to see if anyone from your own erea would be interested in having a chat on here with a view to doing a green lanes day ,or info of lanes they know of around Bristol .

Who’s with who in which group or is that going to be sorted out on the day?

Anyone else fancy a day out in Derbyshire doing a few country lanes with a few like minded people, Could even miss a couple of the less interesting lanes out and have a pub lunch and a pint.

I know i slowed the job down last time in my Maverick but this time i should be able to press on, No problem.
