With the kind help of Big Black I'll be taking it over to the mechanic on tuesday evening, thank you BB:bow

Of course not forgetting Larson for finding the mechanic:bow

It seems to of been a long time:nenau

Jim

be good to see you back on the road

Well guys the ball is well and truly rolling. We've towed it across to the garage that's replacing the clutch, tell you the truth I was alittle worried about towing it across there but with the help of friends it was easy.

My heart felt gratitude goes out to the club members who gave their support. In particular Larson, Clivvy, Briggie and Big Black.

It was great to meet Briggie and Big Black for the first time. We made our own Terrano/Mav and Misty road block in my street:lol

Big Black you'll get that little car next time pal, think he had a death wish that one.

All being well she'll be ready for the weekend.

Thanks Guys:bow:bow:bow:bow

HA HA, you'd better believe it! Talk about Kamakasi over taking... wouldnt mind, we were mainly doing 30mph on the main roads where the speed limit was mostly 30!!!! :nenau

Anyway, good to meet you your familly, Clivvy and that old bugger with the HUGE ariel on the roof!!!! :augie :augie :lol :lol

Hope everything goes well with the motor and you've recovered your nerves from the tow!!! :lol :lol :thumb2

ha ha well, youre not wrong there jim i am way too twitchy!! anyways, i managed approx 4 very poor pics! i didnt want to use the flash during the tow because i didnt want to put Carl off the towing but ill post up what we have tonight!!

I reckon the trip went really well, considering where we were going and the route taken. Carl did an awesoem job of towing, and it was very reassuring having someone so positive there. Pete did an awesoem job too, keep traffic clear, odd comments about curry houses and generally knowing where he is!

*Petes car is awesome by the way, Rick, you and Swifty did an amazing job!!*

Jim, you kept your cool also, i know you were dreading the tow rope scenario, especially at that distance, but you did great!

:thumbs

some pics, nowt special as I was trying to avoid using flash so I didnt upset Carl's concentration and we had a lot to focus on during the trip...

sorry about the lack of pics, had to concentrate on walkie talkies and the road, didnt want to freak Carl out with random flashes from behind!

ok, off we go!

the MIGHTY BigBlack!

Pete!

and theres an arse if ever I saw one!

ha ha i thought you were calling pete an arse, i hadnt got that far down the screen.

i phoned jim as i couldnt wait for a reply but thanks anyway clive

pete you could have clean your motor man letting the side down their lol

I'm getting worried clivvy taking photo's of me bent over:eek:

:jesterbg

I've been promised it'll be ready for the weekend. I spoke to Neil who's doing the job today and asked if he can drain the gear oil too as the drain plug is stuck.

One interesting thing he did say was it's the 4th gear that goes on these as they don't like towing? I thought they made a good tug.
