clonk sounds like a sticking thrust bearing or broken clutch spring to me.

Cheers Romanis-king, but it was a hydraulic issue and not a sticking thrust bearing or broken clutch spring.

Done just under 200 miles with it today without any issues. Glad that this issue is finally sorted.
