I'm planning on driving up to watch the Military tattoo in August and I'm after some local knowledge.

Where can I find a cheap hotel for 2 nights not too far away from the castle or would anyone put me up for some dollar and preferential mod treatment :lol

I think that would be me! Send us a PM mate of the date you're after. Hotel's are busy as a one legged bloke in an ar$e kicking competition in August so you'll be miles out if you want cheap!

I have a few family birthdays, etc. in August, but depending on the date, could probably put you guys up.
