Hopefully he'll love it.
Swings and roundabouts. You'll get places in yours you couldn't in grandads. Unless you started modifying, then the refineness and economy slowly slips away:cool:

Always the way!! But I take back all the grief I ever gave anyone who owns a 3 litre, apart from its inability to drink Veg, it's a far superior block to the 2.7!!!

These days Dealers don't want to hold any stock that is not high turnover!

Nissan will only sell you a bag of 10 and wont break the bag as it is an order in part, the part number is on the bag.

I have used 3 and have 7 left, I'll happily sell you a few mate

Also just made this as a sticky too :naughty

Jeep are the same I wanted some new nuts on the rear suspension and had to buy 10 and only wanted 2. Luckily they fit in a few other places as well but they were not cheap but did not have the time or energy to take one off and go to a Fastener Wholesaler.

Likewise for some door card clips, tried e-bay at a tenth of the price but they weren't tight enough so bought a bag of 20 and did both sides. The door cards had a mish-mash of wrong clips.

At last, the fog clears, the mist lifts, the boy is enlightened.

:D

Welcome to our glorious world.

Hi Banshee,

Any news on how Grandad is enjoying the Terrano then?

He's driven it once and then gone back to driving my Nan's Chevrolet Matiz :hmh

I don't know why he hasn't been driving it :(

Did you change the rear diff oil ? could be unnerving for the gentleman if a slip caught him out.

Rang my Nan tonight to see how they both were and catch up and randomly from nowhere she tells me that since Saturday my Grandad has been using his Terrano :lol :nenau :nenau

My Grandad confirmed this to me himself when I spoke to him :thumb2 :thumb2 He said he is enjoying driving it, he loves how high up he is and said he finds drivers are a lot less aggressive towards him, not cutting him up etc, he did say that he doesn't like how loud the engine is which I can understand why he'd say that going from an almost silent cabin of a Petrol BMW.

Good news though, not so much so for those of you who have approached me to buy it, sorry lads not at the minute by the looks of it

Going to come as a big surprise to you all but just goes to show how weird the world can be but this truck is up for sale now. I'd rather not get into specifics as I'm rather annoyed by it all but it's nothing wrong with the truck just another change of mind by my Grandad

Before I let it go it will be getting an MOT and once it's got a pass certificate on it with no advisories I'll be steam cleaning and Waxoyling the chassis and won't accept a penny less than £2500, thought I'd give you guys the heads up first before it goes on eBay

:doh :doh :doh
