Thought I might start a new thread being we seemed to have digressed a little from rubber doodads for Micra bonnets... :lol
Auto solo's are like Auto tests only you don't have to memorize the course, there's no reversing or handbrake turns (unless you want to be flash). You don't need a powerful motor, smoothness & accuracy is the aim. Most MSA & or BTRDA affiliated car clubs run Autosolo's all over the UK.
Once I get me truck I'd like to have a go at a full series with a local club.
This one below was at Blackburn motor services last year & was a bit of a jaunt for me, but a great day out & I met some very nice folks too.
Waiting for my go.
What's missing is the squealing of tortured tyres though the whole day!
My car is the White 100
It's heavy on tyres, you can't see very well but the rubber was rolling off the tyre! The regulars put old tyres on as too much grip can slow you down!
