3.0 Di Warm up switch

Does anyone have the above on their 3.0 ? It'll be by your right knee next to the elec mirror switch I imagine.

Possibly only fitted to auto's ?

(raises idle rpms upto 1100)

Not seen one on my 2.7 but like the idea to warm it up a bit.

Def. no sw on mine but there is a spare position free.....(reg. 2oo4 dec.)
Can't see why it would be needed as engine revs are electronically controlled & any dramatic increase would make the auto surge

I've got it on the Trol. Turns off automatically as soon as you put it into gear, imagine the auto will do similar if you go into drive.

I use it when winching or jump starting to keep the power up in the battery. Only used it once or twice to actually warm things up :nenau

My old r3mR had one used it to help defrosting speed up!

Yea got it on my Trol, only pressed it twice, usually use the air conditioning to demist, that increases the revs.
Be using it in Norway.

my x reg y61 trol 3.0di manual had one,

was nice that could just keep revs on a fast idle without feathering throttle.

noted as soon as pressed clutch, or i think touched gearstick it would clear.

Only active in N or P with foot off brake and accelerator.
