2 questions this time....

so, overnite the cheap garage on the way to work has gone up by 3.7p(wtf) per litre! i put £30 in and drove away,for a split second missing my 42mpg round town vectra....nah just kidding! so ive just pumped 20ltrs of ktc veg oil in at £17.79. mildly worried but not alarmed.....i am on a diet and this could wreck it!

Ive just started on the veggie oil route, and it works fine in my 98 TDI, it even seems to run a bit quieter, i put 20ltr of derv and 20ltr veggie run that thru, then it turned freezing so just run it on derv and now back onto 50/50 again and have done 70 miles and still going strong. Next step 100% veggie when it turns warmer so am sure yours will be OK. The more i drive mine the more i hate the modern crap with it's £1000 repair bills.

it does seem quieter your right! i use morrisons 2 stroke oil in all my diesels to get the same effect. all seems good so far.....
