Yes I was thinking along these lines actually. As far as I'm aware in the 6'ish years I've lived here, we've not had a problem with rats as no-one has seen any. We do get the odd tiny mouse running around however so I think it's probably one of those.

I've sprinkled a fine coating of flour over the carpet and top of the dash near the windscreen as this is where I've been finding tiny bits of black rubber/material. I'll have a look in the morning and see if there are any tiny footprints anywhere...

Hahahaha I've heard it all now!!! Mice in a Maverick

What you need is one of our ferrets to sleep in there for a few days...:lol:lol

Well no footprints this morning and the trap hasn't been touched... No other obvious signs of life...

I work with two people who both keep ferrets so I'm considering exploring that avenue...!

i keep lots of chickens so am used to vermin and think itl be mice. i suggest the coconut quality streets as they love those, if you dont have any left over from crimbo then use smooth peanut butter. rats like cat food but if you catch 1 leave it near the trap as they will come and attempt to move the body and get caught themselves. hope this helps.
