Yeah, I'd go with the cheap and relatively easy fixes first. Fuel filter would be my first port of call. My Terrano had the same symptoms when I put vegetable oil in at too high a concentration when cold. Have you filled up with different fuel recently? Regards, Ian.

Veggie oil from Bookers cost £15.60 for 20L tin (78ppl) Didn't need a pump. I pierced the top of the tin and poured the oil out of the spout into a large funnel which I had put into the filler cap. Dispenses 20L quicker than a forecourt pump! Ian.

It's a great feeling pouring the veg oil in and then driving around for much less than you would otherwise have been! You'll get strange looks while pouring it in which is fun. Enjoy!
