I've used turbo active several times. Great firm.

    Terrano diesel Auto mpg

I run my SWB at 30psi front and 28psi rears. I would say the handling is very neutral and tyre wear even across the tread.

    air con radiator

I'll warn you now that the alloy fittings can and do strip their threads when attempting to separate them.

    exhaust advice please

You probably find it feels more eager, spools earlier and holds the power higher up the rev band too? (depends if they kept the OE turbo outlet or not )

    Magic box thing

If the "chip" (it isnt really a chip at all) is not quite calibrated correctly, then it can force the ECU into limp mode because the 'adjusted' signals the ecu gets back are out of the window it expects.

    Magic box thing

Well against the replies so far, I would totally recommend a tuning box or remap for the TDi, and a 'must-have' if you are going to tow even the tinsyiest trailer. Often an improvment in mpg driven normally. Turns it into the vehicle it should've been from the factory. I started off with a box...

    terrano keeps stalling

Zexel / Hitachi - Cam position sensor on the timing case. Bosch / Bosch - Crank position sensor on the bell housing. I would agreee that the stalling when hot and reluctance to rev could well be a loss or poor signal from the sensor. These type of inductive sensors often fail when hot. Get...

    Any ideas?

Battery leads are famous for looking ok, but being electrically insulating! Give them both a good look and tug.

Terrano 2.7 tdi MAF and management light

Pull codes, but also: Either a faulty MAF or a broken wire in the harness (where it is clipped around back of engine) Get a DVM hooked up and check the output (pin3) idle - just under or around 1v Full throttle 2500rpm upwards 4.3+v Smooth transition between these points. Pin 1 - 5v Pin 2...

    A/R link bushes

I sent Billcar the head to inspect and they sourced the ARP's. Sadly I dont have the part number grr, but they are M12 x something like 160mm, nothing complicated.

    A/R link bushes

Well replaced the bloody a/r bushes and measured the ride height, which was about 5cm lower at front than rear although it didnt look it. Wound her up to 1cm lower at front than rear with half a tank of fuel on board. Gosh the ride quality has improved! Engine is obviously back together after...

    Volvo

i bought a 59 plate BMW 118d yesterday for a client from a dealer. He did the usual speal of this and that, then dragged out the "Care & Protect" booklet from the desk drawer and started on "for £399 every 12months...." I said no disresepect mate, but that's 2 years worth of valeting, put that...

Not sure if Makeitfit has his lpg fumigation set to work over a certain amount of throttle, or just at WOT. The latter i suspect.

    Volvo

Right. We're on our 4th company xc90 having amassed something like 300k in them. Started with an early LPG'd T6. Talking about diesels in the main careful on: Auto boxes can play up and *need* fluid changes despite being "sealed for life". Life expectancy otherwise is about 120k, less if its...

    Power upgrades

The edc15c2 is only flashable via replacing the two rom chips (and usually socketing them so they can be replaced again and again) as you can only flash the chips once. 2001-on c3's are flashable over and over via the OBD connector without opening the ecu. I am not sure which exact ecu the...
