Just done some sums after a week of bio/lpg fun :sly
440 miles on 52 litres of bio @82p per litre, and 25 ish litres of lpg @ 43p per litre :D Bio cost £42.64 plus lpg cost £10.75 total £53.39 .That 77 litres = 16.94 gallons. So if my maths are correct then I'm now getting 26 miles to the gallon, about the same as before really, BUT it's only costing 12p a mile :thumb2
Remember too I've probably got about 150 bhp or more to play with and clutch busting torque :lol
The equivalent forecourt price of £1.41 round here would have cost me £108

So if you drive like me an old fart, would I see a better return than £108 as I normaly get around 32 33 mpg

illy

Not sure if Makeitfit has his lpg fumigation set to work over a certain amount of throttle, or just at WOT. The latter i suspect.

Defo, mine is not an example for fuel economy :lol Kin huge wheels n tyres, roof bars and lights , big heavy bumper and winch, right foot made of lead :sly
Set up properly the gas fumigation will defo get you more overall fuel economy, where as mine is still on "loone" setting :naughty
Just hope the engine holds out a bit longer till the turbo gets done :sly

If I ever turn mine into a van this is something I'd like to do.

Mine works off the throttle micro switch :sly Pedal on, gas on :thumbs
At the mo I switch off the tunit when er booting it as I'm over fuelling  and the clutch just gives up when the turbo comes in:doh
Turbo boost is up a bit more now though and still working on fun pedal restraint :lol
