Thats for the advice, typically i didnt see it till after id changed the exhaust :rolleyes:. It was a bit of a pain feeding it out backwards but with a little patients i managed. The old one was in two parts clamped together? with loads of weld and four holes.

Im picking up a new front pipe tommorrow with gaskets however i was just wondering what size the bolts where and if there was anything that i should be careful of whilst replacing, its looks like a straight forward job but they always do until i start:rolleyes:. Thanks in advance.

Finally managed to get all the bits together, made up a adapter lead as per the pin numbers for 16 to 14 pin connector and ran it through a nissan consult and finally rs232 to usb, and i cant get it to cennect to either consult or ecutalk software, the led on the consult flashes but the software...

Just another thought as a car is insulated from earth via the tyres then incorrect earthing and a wiring fault could potentially lead to a 240v car, just to stress the importance of good circuit protection for when you provide a personal earth.:rolleyes:

If you can locate the accessories relay (m803) check across terminals 3 and 5 for continiuty with ignition in acc or on (or just check for voltage at 5). Terminal 5 directly feeds the front power socket (behind handbrake) and another power socket relay that powers the rear power socket.

Result - Visit local scrappers and explained what i was after, scrapper said go have a look around the yard, found the connector i was after in a Nissan micra. After a bit of a spider man impression (micra on top of another car) i got the connector complete with about 7 inches of wires. Best...
