Has anyone made a radio facia plate?

I am thinking of making a CD facia plate for my Terry.

Has anyone fabricated a metal or plastic one?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I will first attempt to fit the old Hazard switch into my new panel and maybe put an extra couple of cig sockets in the spare space.

If it goes well, I'll post up pics.

GOD DAMN thats expensive. I personally have not tried to make one but would imagine it cant be too hard. Ihave seen in other cars where people have made them from mdf or ply and glass fibre then painted or vinyl wrapped to very high standards. Go for it mate and please post pics:thumb2

got mine from main dealer think with out hazard switch cost 40 quid hope that helps good luck with making ur own would be nice to c pics after and c what it looks like:thumbs

On the bay there are numerous from £5 upwards.

I'm going to attempt to remove the existing one and re-fit first.

Im looking at putting a double din in, looks like it will just fit with some slight adjustments:augie. If i manage ill post some pics of the job and if i dont ill be going to the scrappers looking for a new centre console:lol

I noticed on the Ebay ad he said the hazard switch is part of the original stereo ? Mine's not. You can get replacement fascias from Halfords for around £35 I believe.
