Just open the door before you lift up the stabiliser handle:thumb2 did that for years with T2. I also took the Stab handle off for bit more room. :)

Mav I never saw that:doh tried Mr Cobblers again and no joy, he's still not 100% on programming a Patrol Well just been to nissan and I can get 2 new fobs and all reprogrammed for £80. The Patrol is different to a T2 as you've got a Master fob which also needs programming when you add new...

You say its not the head gasket, so you've had/got the head off?? If its rebuilt pressure test ASAP. :)
