Advice please

Hi, having recently bought a Terrano 11 we were supplied with only one key(NATS). Apparently it costs an arm and a leg to buy one from Nissan-any advice on how to get another key without remortgaging please.

You can generally pick up new keys on Ebay... and details for reprogramming!
Where did you buy the motor from? Maybe go back to them if a garage and ask them to stump up for a new key???? :nenau

Quite often a good key cutting shop in your local town should be able to do you one, they can not only cut the key but many can code the new key as well from your existing key. May save you a bob in the process.

Wish it was that easy with the Patrol:doh

Local guys can't do it and Nissan can't reprogramme my not working fob, so I need to get a new one £45ish and £35ish for programming:sly

On the Trol all fobs need programmed through the consult unit at the same time:doh none of press this button x times etc:doh

Hi Mav, he's local to me and I tried him couple of months ago and he couldn't do it. He was trying to get info on the procedure, but he never got back to me, might pay him another visit.

Mav I never saw that:doh tried Mr Cobblers again and no joy, he's still not 100% on programming a Patrol

Well just been to nissan and I can get 2 new fobs and all reprogrammed for £80.
The Patrol is different to a T2 as you've got a Master fob which also needs programming when you add new fobs to the system.
