    Just renewed my membership again £10, that's a total of £90 as I have been a member since 2006, must have saved at least that on all the help online, and fixing the truck myself. well worth it, cheers to all :)

    my 1999 mav has a N.Ireland plate starts with YDZ then followed by 4 digits, im Welsh and live in Wales, but my surname is a city in Ireland, so the answer to your question from me is NO, :)

    Ticking relay

    split charge relay in nearside rear, as you have twin towing electrics, check conmnetions to relay, on some models there are potentiometers fitted ( a small adjustment screw should be visivble) this is set to a certain voltage so to protect the main battery in the vehicle from draining too low...

    might just be that one switch, locking the other switches out, apart from the drivers window switch which is on the door.....well it is on my 1998 model, later models i think are located on the drivers door armrest ...i believe

    just out of interest my ford maverick had a hitachi, couldnot find oner anywhere apart from fords , jut under £300...... I THINK NOT, just fitted a second hand one, bosh one from a terrano smaller than the hitachi, seems to run fine at the momemt, will give it a run to and from work tomorrow...

    dont know what make mine was, but the one ordered was a Bosch, i ordered one from local motor factors namely "GMF" £98 only had one listed, the magnet was a smaller diameter than mine, the cable length was too short and the plug at the other end was different , ie didnt match the ford maverick...
