    Tyres screeching

I've changed the oil to an LSD as noted from previous posts. Drives absolutely fine, no shake or wobble at lwo or high speeds. I'll get out over the next couple of days and check the tyres and pressures. I've just learned to live with it over the last few months, convinced it was the tread...

    Tyres screeching

I havn't checked the steering belt. Would it screech on full lock when not moving ? I was only convinced it was the tyres because of the lack of grip in the wet. I'm not going fast at all when the tyres screech. Yep, it's in 2 wheel drive. I'll check the tyre pressures.

    Tyres screeching

Thanks for the quick response. No, I havn't had the tracking checked. It's difficult to tell, but I think it's coming from the back. Also, it feels like the back is trying to slip out at the back in the wet when turning.

    Tyres screeching

Grateful for some advice/help. When I bought my Terrano a few months ago it had (and still does) Runway Enduro A/T tyres on it. Even if I go slowly around a corner the tyres screech and I get the looks from others drivers thinking why the hell is he going so fast ! It also can be a bit hairy...

    DAB adapter kits

I fitted a DAB radio,CD player. A JVC one, new off e-bay for around £100, it comes with a screen aerial, but I decided to use an inline adapter to the original and it works great. Also had to buy an ISo adapter for the connections and it fitted straight in no problems, half hour job in total.

    Alarm fob?

I have the two button type in the first picture and I didn't have the Mhz either. I found the receiver box under the dashboard on the drivers side which had all the information I needed to purchase a new one. Hope this helps.

    ABS light still on?

Exactly the same happened to me the other week, same model , same year as yours and it was the nearside one too. An independant 4x4 specialist did it for me for £50. The forum title is "HELP!! Maverick Front ABS Sensor"

    HELP!! Maverick Front ABS Sensor

Just like to say thankyou to all those who posted problems AND solutions to the ABS problem. I had the same on a Terrano 97 model, I bought about 3 weeks ago from an auction. All of a sudden the ABS kicked in when slowing for no reason at all. Also no ABS warning light. Did some checks and...

Have you tried Halfords ? Take the paint code there and they can mix it up either as a touch-up or spray.

    Alarm Key Fob

My alarm receiver was under the steering wheel, you'll need to remove 2 or 3 screws from the panel underneath and pop it out of the clips, on the left is a small box with the numbers on it , my was a siemens. My said 5wk4 785 - 418Mhz , but I've been told that no-one knows of a 785, only a 782...

    Locking Wheel Nuts

I've just discovered my locking nuts are 19mm hex and the others are all 21mm. Fortunately I found out while at home and I only have the one wheel brace (21mm) in the car. Most of the locking nuts being offered are 19mm and I don't really want to have to carry around an extra brace. (I know the...

    New Fob Required

I hear what your saying and I agree, those are the only one's I've ever seen. However, I am taking the data off the control box under the dash and the only key I have doesn't have the label on the back of it. Maybe someone could check their fob and control box to see if they have the same...
