ABS light still on?

Hi All;-
just had new discs and pads fitted, expecting the ABS light on the dash to no longer be there, but not the case, still on- does this have to be taken to Nissan to get done?

Think there is a workshop regarding the ABS sensors, if not we do have previous posts. For some reason the wires seem to break inside the insulation, usually quite close to the sensor. I think it is often the front nearside.

Exactly the same happened to me the other week, same model , same year as yours and it was the nearside one too. An independant 4x4 specialist did it for me for £50.

had the same prob with mine.did a search on the site for abs sensors and there is an old post which explains how to do it.cost me about a tenner to sort it out.the hardest bit was soldering the new wire onto the sensor as the wire had broken quite close to it.all sorted now thanks to the owners club :smile: :smile:
