ive been trying to find a "chip" everyone else has stopped doing them does it improve the bottom end i find im havingto give it quite a few revs to pull away quickly my mates warrior is same i put it down to modern electronics

a lot of diesel chippes wont touch it because its still a mechanical pump they specialise in the new super douper common rsil jobbies fraid my poor beastie to old for them!

had a Nissan pick up in today which had a chip box on, so got the number and gave them a ring.

they will upgrade the 2.7td by 25bhp but nothing for the 2.7tdi good news for eclipse he was asking if his could be upgraded

tuning chip

I have a original tuning box fitted to my 2.7 TDI (bosch injector pump) from:

Conecting the chip box is as easy as pie, disconnect large round plug and connect chip box in line then connect loose wire to air flow meter pin 5 with snap connector type scotch lock. the kit can be removed in amatter of seconds as the snap connector on pin 5 has a spade terminal built in the end.
Got the kit off e bay cheap, 2 years ago, and still going strong.

You cant chip a 2.7td as there isn't an ecu to chip you can only chip the later flyby wire electronic controlled engines

BUT THIS IS THE TDI NOT TD!!
K+N do help alittle two types on 2.7TDI theres the in the canister one(like original) or remove air filter can and fit one on to intake pipe.

the company over to tune your 2.7td i dont know how like you say no ecu all they could do is increase fueling stiffer waste gate spring to get more boost unless its a missprint use the drop down menu on the site think its on the ford side noit nissan

Has anyone sucessfully tuned a 2.7 TD (non intercooler) by increasing the fueling or changing the boost pressure? I see "Diesel bob" does a tune-up, but he's a looongg way from Sussex.
