I've done a search but haven't come across the info i'm after.
My 1996 Terrano came with 1 alarm remote fob that while working looks very tatty so I want to replace it.
There is no mhz info on the back as its worn off.
The fob looks like a 2 button job but is actually only 1 button, the top one on the fob, its red.
The 'button' below it is actually solid not soft.
The red button locks and unlocks the car.
I took the fob apart and found that the board inside has 2 buttons and both work for unlocking and locking the car :?
So to get a replacement what do I get?
Has anyone seen one of these single button fobs before?
Can I buy a 2 button fob and use that after programming it to the car?
Also from the description I've given would anyone know what mhz I should buy?
Sorry for all the Q's.
Nathan
