I think that as long as people take an interest in the club, and are prepared to pay the subscription, thus adding to the financial security of the club, I'm sure that a forum for non Nissan/Mavericks could be opened. Many members go offroading in non Nissan/Mav trucks anyway.

    record breakers

    What Ever Next

I had my photo taken 3 years ago in Blackpool, doing the 32 in a 30mph limit. Plod gave me the option of paying £60:00 fine and 3 penalty points, or going to Lancaster and doing a speed awareness course for £85:00 , but keeping licence clean. Well, I did the course, and it was a joke !! ... 2...

    New years eve

Happy New year to all and sundry, and "MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU" whether you drive a Nissan or a Ford, and HEY, Floyd , I used to drive "National Distress" into Buchanan Street bus station, Glasgow, and thought that being "Three sheets to the wind" was a pre-requisite for being Scottish

    What Ever Next

Actually, they would work on the vehicle's speed, not on engine revs, just as the speed limiters work on a LGV lorry (restricted to 90kpm/56mph) and PCV coach (100kpm/62mph). The thing is, Lorries & coaches have their tachographs calibrated every 2 years, to +or- 2% whereas a car's speedo can be...

3 ltr Terrano Diesels - Jap imports???

As a rule of thumb ... if it's got the little mirror on the nearside wing, about 4 inches or so behind the nearside headlight, it's a jap import, as the European models didnt have this mirror fitted.

    the holiday modifications

Hey extreme, have you hit the nail on the head by saying it's like a diff. grabbing traction - are you sure that both front hubs are locking when you select 4WD ?

    New front end

P.S. to last message ...... The new front shows visitors what can be done with the Nissan/Ford trucks , and should generate more interest in the club from non-members, as marketing is just as important in gaining members as it is in sales. Thumbs up from me !!!

    New front end

Surely the club is only as strong and successful as the members make it. You have the captain at the helm , and the crew doing their bit to keep the ship afloat . A ship is only as efficient as the captain AND crew make it, so let's support Bat 21 as much as we can, just as we supported Mick.

    Hello, good evening and.........

All the best at the helm of the club , and I'm sure that all the members will give you the same level of support that has been given in the past. Now you say that you are an IT geek ..... why does my computer keep having "Blue-screen" crashes that say something can't read the CHKDSK ?????????????

    MPG well chuffed!

Hey Nathan, you should have gone for an older Mistral like mine .... There's an ATP machine in the dashboard that actually pays me 46 pence a mile for driving the Mistral , and it runs forever on the gas produced on the "Fray Bentos" farm ......... you know ...... the Bull Poo  -killingme-

oh well, joke time, good OR bad

A young couple are driving down the road, when the young wife sees an injured skunk lying alongside the road. "Pity, let's stop and see if we can help it" she says. Her husband stops the car and she runs back and picks the skunk up and walks back to the car with it. "Oh , it's all cold and...

    Cigarette Lighter Socket non-std size??

I think you will find that you will need to take the facia off, as the unit is not just a push-in . The plastic part that holds the illuminating light bulb is a " twist-lock" , holding the metal socket part in place in the dash. Hope that makes sence and helps ........ Matt.
