removed rear anti roll bar
2 inch + 20 % spring lift
and of course the extreme raised air

i have to say. its f...in awsome now

can i take the front anti roll bars off will it hurt my road ride much. the rear is hardly noticeable on road, but off road fantastic

the springs are rock hard and like that too

raised air working well

i notice now just how good these are. im constantly amazed
although im finding i need mud tyres more now as i push to its limit more

Think it about time my ARB's came off!!:augie:thumbs:sly

how much diference road a dn towing is there with out them two on then??

You on the drink again zip???:lol:lol
I would'nt imagine there would be any differance, maybe slightly more roll.:augie:thumbs

to be honest ive only done the back arb's so far but the next day done the lift.
in my un qualified opinion the bigger stronger springs might be compensating the loss of the rear arb and its good on road hardly notice... but awsome off road

id spend a week testing it then take the front off too, for some reason my mav dont like 4wd on anything hard right now the stearing seems very loose a few bushes needed i recon.

its like a dif on the front grabing traction and pulling it to the nearside ... but only in 4wd on hard stuff . but its quick and like your going to die:eek: so needs further investigation

2wd its still fantastic

well i lifted the front to the max on the torsion bars a month ago and all was well... steering only stupid after a day out. im a bit lost to be honest will give it a good looking at as soon as i finish this small job at work.
it drives fine in 2wd and slow in the mud 4wd.
im not going to be able to get parts before new year anyway . the tracking and camber look right.

Hey extreme, have you hit the nail on the head by saying it's like a diff. grabbing traction - are you sure that both front hubs are locking when you select 4WD ?

to be honest i had thought that. but i didnt think so. it feels like there is 4wd but if you give it gas it just grabs and pulls to the passenger side ... hard

more like something is loose but i will investigate now you mention it:thumbs

Having watched baryzukis doing this - and my old one used to too, It is the drag link. It is a rubbish design and 2 of the ball joints wouls be plain bearings or even bushes on anything else, these alow things to move around.

The reason it only happens in 4wd is that in 2wd the drag of the wheels pushes them backwards in the arches and holds them as they should be. In 4wd the wheels are trying to pull themselves forward and thus do and the steering goes all over the place.

There is a mod for the drag link but you'll need to source an old one to modify, Tommo (IIRC) posted a link to what needs doing sometime ago.
