    Well.... You guys where right. :bow There was a mini filter inside the banjo at the rear on the pump. So i apologize. I'm a marine mechanic, so there are som things that are quite different. BUT.. The damn thing didn't help a bit. Same damn problem.

    The banjo the machanic showed me is the inlet from the main filter. The "Workshop 10 pdf" in the workshop download section also show the inlet to the pumpe. The outlet/return is on the backside of the pump. Is it possible that Nissan have tried several possibilities with the mini filter?

    I have inspected the fuel lines, and they looks good. But im going to drain the fuel tank, change the fuel lines and filter just to be sure. I suspect it sucks air somewhere. The car work very well up to 2000-2300 rpm. Good power.

    I did not know that. My 96' is an original TDI and got an original intercooler ;) We hade the change between TD and TDI in 96' I have heard several Terranos in Norway that has ECU problems. Maybe they are all 96/97 models. (PS. Have changed the Maf a couple of times. It's not getting any better.)

    I got the Zexel system and the car ia a 96' I read this in Autodata in the known fix bullitins. All the symptoms fits the discription. Autodata said it only a small series that has this problem. (Don't remeber the serienr. Involved atm.)

    Has anyone hade a problem with the ECM? I have jerking between 2000 - 3000 rpm at full trottle that i can't find out the problem. I read yesterday a fix bullitin that the ECM has a faulty mapping and that the ECM has to be changed? Anyone experiansed this?

    All diesel engines. The two stoke oil (Important that it is two stroke oil) is just helping the pump since the diesel is "rough" for the diesel pump in longterm use. It's just helping the pump.
