Fitting Terrano heated leather seats info needed.

From what I've seen on mine there are two plugs under each seat . . . .looks like one for the squab, and one for the seat back. Both are fed by one cable from each switch. Any chance you could take a couple of pictures of the underside for me? Mine have never worked even though the switch lights...

Can you retro fit the steering wheel stereo controls?

    Forgot to mention those :doh

Can you retro fit the steering wheel stereo controls?

2004 SVE here. I have the steering wheel controls, as well as the CD multi-changer, leather (heated) seats, sunroof, roof bars and tow-bar if that helps at all?

    Someone Nicked my Karma!

Oh mate :nenau Bloody karma, hey? It really is true that no good deed goes unpunished  As for people honking and shouting abuse? Well, I've long-held the opinion that 'people' are generally assholes, with a few decent ones chucked in to the mix

    3.0l auxilliary drivebelt

I could probably have managed it by feeding the belt down between the fan and the rad'. It just looked pretty awkward. It was a no-brainer to get it done when the rad' was though :thumb2

    cv removal

As above, but mind the lower shock bracket gets in the way. I carefully bent one side to let the CV joint clear it, but I wouldn't want to do that too often

    Anyone in Dundee got. . . . .

A blue Mistral? Saw one today on the Tesco Kingsway roundabout. First one I've seen :thumb2

    3.0l auxilliary drivebelt

I pulled my radiator out earlier today to sort out an airlock issue I had. Once the fan's unbolted, the grill's out, the radiator' moved it's amazing just how easy the belt is to change :lol:lol:lol

Gearbox oil manual and auto - Nissan says

Engine oil in a manual transmission????:eek: I noticed when I changed my manual box oil tot he stuff recommended by Comma it was immediately apparent that the gear-change was notchier, especially going into first at low speed. It'll be getting changed again once your lady at Nissan comes...

Yep, here to! Thanks for your advice during this Rick. It's been appreciated! Very much. All the best, Stu :thumb2

    Bleeding the coolant system. 3.0l

I hope not. Truck's only done 83k, and it's been like this for the last 6 months. I'll keep an eye on it, but I have a feeling it might've been down to knackered coolant in the first place? There's been no sign of any water in the oil when I've changed it, and vice versa. No white smoke at all...

    Bleeding the coolant system. 3.0l

Well, after an age spent second-guessing myself and tying myself up in knots I took the radiator off this afternoon and checked every bit of the system for obstructions, gunk, rust and/or anything else. Put it all back together, flushed it with chemical then refilled the block from the radiator...
  14. Q

    Fluid line ?

Mine was leaking last week. I cut it about 4" back from the block, used two hammers to close it, then folded it over on itself a couple of times and hammered it until it sealed again. Now I've put it out of my mind and intend never to look at the stupid damn thing again :augie

    Bleeding the coolant system. 3.0l

Still no joy :nenau Right, here's a breakdown of everything that's been done . . . Start of Summer-noticed the heater had stopped blowing hot. Wasn't worried as I put it down to a HVAC door cable problem No coolant leaks. No overheating issues Couple of weeks ago I started to investigate...

    Bleeding the coolant system. 3.0l

Oh feck! God knows where THAT is, then. In fact, I know exactly where it'll be . . . .right under the dash, as you say
  19. Q

    Bleeding the coolant system. 3.0l

'Valve'? I've been reading about some systems with a flow-control valve in the matrix inlet circuit. . . . .I was having a look for one but couldn't see it. Is this what you mean?
  20. Q

    Bleeding the coolant system. 3.0l

Well, I'm baffled. The 'stat wouldn't open until I shut off the fan. 5 minutes later it was open & the coolant was flowing into the bottom of the rad'. What puzzles me though, is why the matrix isn't getting as hot as it should do. The heat from the vents improves if the engine's revved though ...
